Orthotists are autonomous registered practitioners who provide solutions to patients with problems of their neuromuscular & skeletal systems. Orthotists are competent to design & provide orthosis that modify the structural or functional characteristics of the patients neuro muscular & skeletal systems enabling better mobilisation, reduce joint deviations, reduce falls, reduce pain, prevent & facilitate healing of ulcers.
